Your new role:

This role is based in a Foundation phase class, teaching 5 days a week. You will be responsible for full time teaching responsibilities, including preparation, for a Primary School class size between 20 and 30 pupils.

This role is confirmed full time and to start on April 8th with interviews commencing over the next couple of weeks.

Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:
* Create lesson plans.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
* Setting homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
* Demonstrating tasks, assigning, and encouraging discussions.

What you'll need to succeed:

You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed. You will need previous experience of working with children aged 3-11 within the past 2 years. You will hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to undertake a new one. Some key attributes required will be for you to be enthusiastic, respectful, dedicated, empathetic and have a caring persona. Additional relevant skills include being reliable and provide a calm response whilst in the classroom.

Research The emphasis of this clinical fellowship will be on advanced radiotherapy. What you'll do

You'll work with the L&D team and managers throughout the business to undertake Training Needs Analysis to ensure that all regulatory, mandatory and developmental requirements in each area of the organisation are completed and you'll play a key part in supporting the digital development of all colleagues, as the organisation continues its digitalisation journey.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role you'll have experience of working in a busy L&D role with the capability to create, design and deliver training, utilising blended learning solutions. You’ll be very comfortable using MS Office packages and ideally you’ll have experience of working with Microsoft 365, however this is not essential.

You will be a confident and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills. You'll also have the ability to work in partnership with colleagues and managers across the organisation.

A valid UK driving licence and the use of a vehicle is essential for this role.

Facilities Services Assessor - Job Description

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Location: Field Based, covering the South Wales area

Starting salary: £25,000 (£24,000 – whilst working towards Assessor qualification) rising to £28,000 per annum pro rata.

We are looking for a passionate individual who will support learners within the workplace in achieving qualifications. The role involves assessing learners against Facilities Services qualification standards and on occasions supporting with Essential Skills (e.g., Literacy & Numeracy). You will be responsible for a caseload of learners (up to approx.35) ensuring timely achievement of qualifications.

The role is field based covering the South Wales area and fits within our Apprenticeship team reporting to the Route Manager.

Numeracy Tutor

Contract term: Fixed Term September 2023 – May 2025.

We are looking for flexible Numeracy Tutors to join our Learning for Work Team and will consider part hours and freelance tutors.

The role involves the delivery and assessment of Essential Skill numeracy qualifications (Entry levels, plus level 1 and 2). This is an exciting opportunity to help Support Families with Maths, and Building Confidence with Numeracy in the workplace and the community. The Numeracy Tutor role is a rewarding job that will gives you the opportunity to deliver everyday skills to people in your community who need it most.

The role is based in our Head Office at Ocean Park House and you will be required to deliver sessions at community based and employer locations across South Wales including Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. You may also be required to deliver blended learning from home with virtual delivery as well as delivery at ACT centres. This role fits within the Learning for Work Team reporting to the Learning for Work Manager. Flexible hours to suit you and part time roles will be considered.

Care Tutor (Health & Social/Child Care Skills Tutor)

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)

Location: ACT Skills Academy, Cardiff

You will develop and provide skills training and activities for learners on JGW+ programmes. The primary purpose of the role is to engage with learners who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) through set modules comprising of mini projects, volunteer, enterprise and community schemes. As part of the role you will also be delivering Health and Social Care qualifications to learners with an interested in a career within the Care industry.

You will have the ability to differentiate and challenge all learners’ ability levels. As a Skills Tutor you will help learners to think about their futures and provide some focus on accessible career paths, whilst creating progression opportunities for both further work-based learning and employment.



The role is based in at our Hadfield Road reporting to the Delivery Manager.

Salary: £27,500 rising to £30,500 per annum

What you’ll do:

We are looking for passionate individuals who will support learners within the workplace in achieving relevant Frameworks. The role involves assessing learners and delivering workshops based around Level 4 & 5 in Childcare Play Learning and Development (CCPLD) and Essential Skills. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners ensuring timely achievement of Apprenticeship qualifications.

We are looking for qualified Assessors i.e. Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (AVA) or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ occupational experience. You will also need to educated to a degree / Level 5 within a related sector.

The role is field based covering the South and Mid Wales area and fits within the Childcare Apprenticeship Route reporting to the CCPLD, CYP & PW Route Manager.

Early Years Community Support Higher Apprenticeship Assessor

The Assessor/Trainer will be required to visit their learners in Early years settings in the community to observe practice, along with remote study sessions.
