Computer Science Teacher
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and qualified Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive school team in Gosport. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career in a role where innovation in teaching is valued, with a long-term position offering an elevating career pathway.
In this role, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 4 students, helping to inspire a passion for technology and digital skills. You'll be part of an experienced and collaborative team that emphasizes respect, active listening, and student involvement in decision-making, ensuring a supportive environment for every student.
Position Details:
- Location: Gosport, Hampshire
- Position: Computer Science Teacher
- Subject Area: Key Stage 4 Computer Science
- Contract Type: Long-term (Temp to Perm/Permanent)
- Start Date: September 2024
- Pay Rate: £162 - £224 per day
- Hours: 8:30 am - 4 pm, with occasional parents' evenings
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year's teaching experience in the UK (preferably in Computer Science or a related subject)
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training completed in the last 12 months
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service, or willingness to undergo a new check
- Two professional, child-related references
