You will work closely with teachers to support student's learning, help manage classroom behaviour, and assist with individual or small-group support for students who may need extra guidance. This role is essential in helping maintain an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, where every student can succeed.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build supportive and positive relationships with students and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities:

• Support students' learning in the classroom by working with individuals and small groups
• Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and resources
• Help manage and encourage positive classroom behaviour
• Provide one-on-one support to students with specific learning needs
• Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment
• Support students during break and lunch periods as needed
