About the role as a ASC LSA:We are looking for dedicated and hard-working Learning Support Assistants to join our ASC Centre team at Banbury college.
The successful applicants will be supporting students with Autism and other associated difficulties on courses which are designed for those with Autism and associated difficulties or supporting students to access their course. These courses are from Foundation Level 1 courses to Level 3 courses. There will be an expectation to support in all areas.
You will be responsible for facilitating individual learning programmes, providing support to our learners in small groups and 1-1 activities when attending the ASC Centres. You will be required to facilitate the students learning using creative and purposeful lesson planning in collaboration with the ASC Coordinators to meet the needs of the learners. You may also be required to support learners to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities.
Personal care can form part of the duties included in this role and training will be provided.
This role is full time (35 hours per week), permanent, term time only. We welcome applications from candidates seeking part time hours providing you can commit to our working patterns and timetables.
Our centre opening hours is between 8.30am - 4.30pm.

We are a Community Special School for children and young people from the ages of 2-19 years, with 110 on roll. Our pupils have severe learning difficulties, or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The designation of the school means that pupils typically have complex needs, and medical needs requiring a high degree of differentiation and bespoke provision. In most cases our pupils will be working below the national curriculum and the equivalent of Expected Levels for NCY1.

We value a happy, healthy and secure learning environment in which all the needs of pupils are met, enabling each young person to reach their individual potential and to maximise their independence. We provide pupils with opportunities for integrated educational experiences across shared sites with mainstream schools.

We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified and dedicated Postdoctoral Research Associate in Translational Biology to join our research team at Oxford Translational Myeloma Centre which is based at Botnar Research Centre, Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), Oxford
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Translational Biology you will lead laboratory experiments and the computational analysis and interpretation of data with the goal of discovering biological pathways, patterns and genes that are responsible for the drivers of drug response or resistance in multiple myeloma. You will specifically interrogate multiple Myeloma cell lines and immune cells for studying the mechanism of action of epigenetic therapy in Multiple Myeloma. In partnership with industrial and academic collaborators you will analyse patient derived genomic, immune, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data to build hypothesis and test them in laboratory models. You will contribute ideas for new research projects, collaborate in the preparation of scientific reports and journal articles and act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group.

You will hold a PhD/DPhil (or near completion) in a biomedical discipline with direct relevance to molecular techniques and assays together with experience to undertake cell based analysis of drug activities. Ability to develop novel assays for testing compounds and their mechanisms based on genetics, OMICs and other assays is essential for success in this project. We are looking for a candidate who would be able to deliver high quality research outputs, as demonstrated by a strong publication record in high profile scientific journals. Familiarity with the existing literature and research in the field of Myeloma or cancer biology together with passion for problem-solving desirable but not essential. Experience in drug related research, strong publication track record and experience of presenting work at meetings and cross-disciplinary collaborative experience are desirable.

This is a full-time fixed-term initial appointment for 2 years.

As a Personal Trainer at our Oxfordshire Fitness and Wellbeing Club, you're confident, outgoing and approachable. Whether you've been training for a while or just recently qualified, it's important that you've achieved REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner (or above). A natural communicator, you're great at listening, understanding and explaining things.

As a Personal Trainer, you will:

Salary is based on 40 hours per week, made up of 32 hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £45,764.16 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver, the more your take home potential is.
