The Role:

The focus of this post is to supervise and support learners undertaking work experience placements with employers.

Duties include:

effective supervision of learners on work placement, utilising techniques such as systematic instruction
coaching learners to improve their employability skills and enhance their job prospects

development and maintenance of excellent working relationships with employers and other stakeholders
completion of all relevant documentation in a timely manner and to required standards

To carry out appropriate intervention requesting advice or support as required. To perform any other task requested by the therapist appropriate to their remit, role and responsibilities. Assist the therapist in facilitating safe discharge of patients from care including delivery and fitting of equipment that has been agreed as been needed. Undertake appropriate training as indicated by the therapist specific to the client group encountered.

To work as part of the Paediatric Physiotherapy team under the guidance and support of more experienced highly specialist senior Physiotherapy staff. To carry out delegated duties, contributing to the planning / maintenance anddevelopment of the Rheumatology Occupational Therapy Service and acting as a valuable resource to other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Your new company
We are seeking an experienced and qualified English Teacher to join a secondary school for a full-time position from January 2024 to July 2024 based in Northumberland. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Your new role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. You will have a passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for students.
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to learn.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Identify and support students who require additional help or support.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English and a proven track record of delivering excellent results. You will be able to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, working closely with students to help them reach their full potential.

• Bachelor's Degree in English or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
