The Norton Knatchbull School is looking for a full time Teacher of Spanish. This is a permanent position. We welcome applicants from either selective or wide ability settings, who are keen to work with high achieving and motivated students. The successful applicant will be expected to have experience of teaching Spanish up to and including A Level. The ability to teach French to at least KS3 would be an advantage, although not a requirement. This post is suitable for an ECT or equally a more experienced colleague looking for a new challenge. There is a vacancy for a number of trust-wide Medical Education Teaching Fellows. Applications are invited to apply. This post is designed to develop the career of clinicians with an interest in medical education.

The post holders will be individuals from any clinical discipline who are fully registered medical practitioners and who have a keen interest in medical education.

Training & Compliance Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail, and experience of overseeing and auditing in a regulated environment, to join a highly regarded and established household name in insurance. You will provide effective coaching and feedback on compliance.

This role is based in east Kent and is a 35 hour a week (9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch), Monday to Friday position. You must be a driver with your own vehicle, as some travel will be necessary between sites in Kent.

Salary will be c£30,000 with benefits to include:

Duties will include:

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products and systems, product licences and T&C Supervision licences as appropriate.
• Conduct T&C checks and reviews in accordance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback and coaching in a constructive way to the team member, recording actions and following up as required.
• Provide reports on T&C checks and reviews as required, ensuring any breaches are reported to the T&C Performance Supervisor/Senior Partner immediately.
• Prepare and deliver one-to-one and group training materials on key compliance and regulatory subjects.
• Contributing to investigations of any breaches as required, implementing any post investigation actions and amendments to processes.
• Support the partners and leadership team in the preparation for and attendance of the annual AR Review.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of insurance ideally, but not essentially
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Experience of oversight and audit
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office, and good maths and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
• Great team working and ability to build effective relationships through positive behaviours
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and compliance with procedures/regulations
