Clinical Networks bring stakeholders together – providers, commissioners and patients – to create alignment around programmes of transformational work that will improve care for the health economy.
The networks provide the clinical expertise and leadership to drive commissioning decision making, measure and benchmark quality and outcomes and share best practice and innovation.
In this way, the networks:
• Improve quality outcomes.
• Advance the delivery of services.
• Reduce unacceptable variations of care
The Clinical Networks have a national mandate to deliver on key priorities within national policy programmes for transformational change in CVD, Stroke, Diabetes and Respiratory.
As a Clinical Network Manager, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting managers and staff to manage and lead a portfolio of projects that support the delivery of the Clinical Network programme.
You will:
• Act as project leader - planning and co-ordinating the delivery of the project, working with others and engaging the constituency of the network as necessary
• Lead a clinically led quality improvement team that supports and enables the wider delivery of health and care improvement across relevant ICBs and ICSs in line with national priorities
• Develop project plans for presentation to the network steering group and other forums
• Produce and / or contribute to products and reports that will influence policy and practice across the clinical area
• Develop metrics for measuring project success and monitoring progress to ensure delivery
• Support the sharing of learning across the region with a wide range of stakeholders
