Behaviour Learning Support Assistant
This post will be paid on GO4 Pt 11 £21, 783 (FTE £25, 979 – pay award pending)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours of work are: 8am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3:30pm Friday (37 hours per week)
Weekly working days will be Monday to Friday – Term time only – Temporary until 31st March 2025 with a view to becoming permanent.
Interviews to be held on Thursday 24th October 2024.
Applicants should:
• Ideally have experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age and have the ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Ideally have experience of working with children with emotional, behavioural and social communication difficulties.
• Be able to work independently and use their own initiative.
• Have skills in de-escalation and building positive relationships.
• Work with parents and the wider community.
• Participate in development and training opportunities.
• Have a good understanding of the use of technology – apps, ICT etc.
• Be able to analyse data and buld interventions as a result of findings.
• Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.

An inclusive and supportive school is looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. The school is close to public transport links and a large park, perfect for an after-work stroll!

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will get to deliver in-class interventions and provide support for children with SEN during lessons. This is a one form entry school so there is a real sense of community, and you’ll get to build great rapport with the children.
