About the School:

The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join this dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students with SEN, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual and Group Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both one-on-one and in small groups, to enhance their learning and social development.
- Lesson Preparation and Delivery: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons, adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of students, identifying areas for further support and intervention.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience working with secondary school students with SEN.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Passion: A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEN.
