The Manager/Nominated Supervisor will coordinate, supervise and manage the Leeton Early Learning Centre in accordance with licensing and statutory requirements, the principles of early childhood development and best practice as well as the needs of the children and families.
Key Components of the Position
Manage and administer the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including its promotion, to achieve maximum utilisation and ongoing service viability.
As the Nominated Supervisor, ensure that the service complies fully with current requirements of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations as well as Council policies and procedures.
Supervise the planning, implementation and evaluation of an effective program of learning, experiences and activities designed to achieve the full potential of each child based upon their individual development records, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Implement and document effective administration procedures for the Centre including the enrolment and placement of children, recruitment, assessment and training of educators and financial management in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, Council policies/procedures and funding agreements.
Qualifications and Experience
The applicant will hold an Early Childhood Teaching degree or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and be working towards an Early Childhood Teaching degree. At least 5 years’ experience in the field is required.
Salary and Conditions
An annual salary in the range of $98,235.80 to $110,022.12 (plus 11% superannuation).
A monthly Rostered Day Off.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a “Functional Assessment” which includes an Alcohol and Other Drug screening and a “Criminal History Check”.
A current Working with Children’s Check is essential.
