Rotherham Doncaster and South Humberside NHS Foundation Trust were successful in phase 1 Trailblazers to have Mental Health Support Teams(With Me in Mind) in Doncaster and Rotherham schools and colleges. As this service continues to expand with wave 8 we are creating new roles within the service. This is a terrific chance to be part of the Government’s impressive plans to transform children and young people’s mental health.

The Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner will work with others to support the delivery of mental health and emotional health and well-being activities, whilst embedding positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
The post holder will deliver a range of specific activities as part of a wider skill mix team to support children and young people, and their families by offering age appropriate information and advice on a range of emotional health and wellbeing issues.
