The Crypt School is looking for a well-qualified, dynamic and innovative Teacher of Art & Design. Art and design are important subjects at both GCSE and A-Level.

We welcome applications from colleagues who enjoy working as part of a team and who seek to contribute actively to the promotion of achievement and enrichment activities throughout the School. Ultimately, we are seeking teachers who will enthuse students in our outstanding co-educational selective school.

• You will be able to teach Art from Year 7 through to Year 13, with a drive for high expectations and a commitment to developing your teaching.
• You will be a key player in shaping the future of the department, and have a relentless focus on raising achievement.
• You will have an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum, and maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching of Art, taking into account curriculum developments relevant to your work.
• You will ensure equality of opportunity, irrespective of starting points, to enable all learners to make good progress.
• You will be well organised, a team player and have excellent communication skills.
• You will be a positive role model for the students, modelling high standards of punctuality and providing consistent implementation of school policies.
