In the role of Teacher of Design Technology you will:

• contribute, where appropriate, to implementing policies and practice and to promote collective responsibility for their implementation •
• take into account and constantly reviewing academy contextual factors and prior attainment when planning and teaching lessons

Essential:
• A good degree in an appropriate discipline related to Design Technology (A/C)

• Experience of assessment at key stage 3 and 4 (A/I/R)
• Awareness of the strategies available for improving the learning and achievement of all students (A/I)
• A good understanding of curriculum developments in Design Technology (A/I)
• Able to use a range of teaching and learning strategies (A/I)
