Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging career in teaching? Do you want to work in a friendly and supportive school that values every child and staff member? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our client, a medium-sized primary school in Porthcawl, to the west of Bridgend.
Your new role
The school is seeking a qualified and experienced primary school teacher to join the team in Year 4, on a full-time basis. The role is due to start in January and is expected to last the full term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs and abilities of all learners. You will also work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. You will be expected to follow the national curriculum and assess the progress and attainment of your pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You must also have at least two years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably in Key Stage 2. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for teaching and learning. You must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to the school's ethos and vision.
