Your new role
We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to cover maternity leave in the fields of Sociology, Health, and Social Care, starting in January. This is a long-term placement, spanning one year, with the exciting possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Sociology, Health, and Social Care to secondary students.
* Inspire students to explore and critically analyse sociological concepts and issues related to health and social care.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and personal growth.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Sociology, Health, and Social Care curriculum.
* Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance and progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialisation or experience in teaching Sociology, Health, and Social Care at the secondary level.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiasm for creating dynamic and interactive learning experiences.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
