Role: Project Worker for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities
Company: halow project (head office based in Guildford)
Location: Our sessions are based at community venues across Surrey, with this role being primarily based in Guildford with some occasional working in Woking.
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm with occasional weekends and evenings for specific events.
Salary: £20,766
Annual Leave: 33 days pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays.

About Us
halow project is a vibrant, growing charity based in Guildford that provides opportunities and support for over 200 young adults with learning disabilities to access social activities, educational programmes and supported living accommodation in south-west Surrey and beyond.
All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
The nature of this role means that you must be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Building Futures is halow's full time community based learning programme that runs over 5 days per week across 3 year groups. It is our flagship programme which aims to nurture the independence, enrich the lives, continue the education and build the futures of our young adults living with learning disabilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Project Worker to be part of the team and help supporting the Year Leads to plan and deliver group sessions. Our Support Workers need to be excellent communicators who are confident to support and deliver outstanding person-centred sessions to our groups. You will ideally be proactive and keen for continuous improvement in yourself and the adults you are supporting, contributing to the development of the programme and working closely with the team. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service and support to our participants, colleagues and stakeholders by being responsible for Safeguarding and ensuring a safe, caring, responsive, effective and well led service – compliant with regulations and legislation.
