Vehicle Plant Assessor/Trainer
Our client is a leading accreditor, with in the construction and machinery-based industry who has a commitment to excellence and safety, when it comes to operating machinery!
We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Assessor/Training provider to join their growing team.
As a Training provider, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the training and development of safe and efficient operation of Forward tipping vehicles and plant machinery for our clients customer base and existing trainers.
Your primary responsibility will be to assess and evaluate the competency of plant operators ensuring that they meet industry standards and safety regulations.
This role requires a strong understanding of assessment and training, in the construction or logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with learners and trainers.
Please note, the role will require both on site and field based travel– therefore you must hold a full driving licence and be prepared to commute within the allocated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of plant machinery operators in accordance with training and regulations standards.
- Evaluate the competency of operators in operating various types of plant equipment.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement to operators and team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments and certifications.
- Collaborate with the training department to identify and address training needs.
Requirements:
- To offer training inductions, on site and surrounding areas, within customers own site.
- Proven experience in assessing and evaluating within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of assessment/Tutoring/Training within a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- To undertake the role of conducting the T001 courses
- Attention to detail and strong report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Very advantageous to hold any of the following qualifications.
-NPORS, CPCS, CITB, CSCS
Forward tipping/Plant machinery licenc

- Working hours – Monday – Friday Between 9.00AM-5.00PM (Alowing flexibility on field based days usually 40 hours per week)
