We are looking for a Digital Skills Trainer to support the Berkshire Healthcare Digital Transformation Programme, to develop and deliver a wide range of digital skills courses from our Microsoft Office 365 training Programme.
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of highly engaging learning content to improve the usage of our Microsoft Office 365 technologies across the Trust and partner organisations as well as developing and delivering training to organisation staff. You will design, develop, and update creative learning content and training packages up to an advanced level.
Using your specialist knowledge and experience you will advise on appropriate solutions to technical problems, and the best use of Microsoft Office 365 software and available technologies.
You will also maintain content within our ‘always on’ Microsoft Office 365 learning offer, as delivered via our internal website, you will also be supporting our enterprise-wide Microsoft Teams live Events and Teams Webinars.
This is a working from home/hybrid working role, however, you will be to attend face to face events, meetings and team days from the office or within the Berkshire region as and when required.
This position is full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, however please do contact us if you are interested in the role but require flexible working around the working hours.
1. Beresponsiblefor developing and delivering Microsoft Office 365 application training enabling the upskilling of clinical and non-clinical colleagues in the use of Office 365 suite of applications, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Planner, SharePoint, Bookings, Lists, Forms and One Drive.
2. Beresponsiblefor developing and delivering training and educational packages to support the self-sufficiency of colleagues in the using of devices and applications.
3. Managethe e-learning catalogue of content within our internal website, ensuring that all content is regularly reviewed and updated.
4. Be anexpert first point of contact for handling and resolving digital literacy questions, arriving via the digital skills mailbox, help desk or other means.
5. Regularly meet with IT help desk colleagues to understand current help call types and adjust our training programs accordingly.
6. Regularlymeet with colleagues responsible for our 365 Tennent and the 365-application suite, to understand future developments arriving from Microsoft and adjust training accordingly.
7. Be our nominated representative, within Microsoft UserVoice and on the Microsoft, Healthcare Champions tenant to better understand future developments, adjust training programs accordingly and feedback on initiatives that better support the Healthcare tools delivered by Microsoft.
8. Be vocal within our Microsoft early adopter programs and feed back to Microsoft regularly.

1. Regularlymeet with our Microsoft account managers and associated Microsoft professionals to best promote Berkshire Healthcare.
2. Proactivelysupport Teams live event / webinarproduction and management, with the ambition that individual services will become self-sufficient in managing live events in the future.
3. Work closely alongside colleagues from both the Clinical Digital Training Teams and Clinical Education Teams to support them where needed and benefit from shared training and education learning.
4. RepresentBerkshire Healthcare whilst attending regional and national forums and share information, learning and training experiences with other organizations.
5. Identifylearning needs, desired aims, andobjectivesfrom the requestor for each learning module. Develop, implement, and evaluate material in response to the identified needs. Advise on innovative technical solutions to ensure design requirements are met.
6. Design, develop and update creative eLearning content, using Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate, Camtasia and other authoring tools. Plan and organise own workload to meet service priorities.
7. Leadon the development and standardisation of learning concept designs aimed at Clinicians, Managers, Administrators, and corporate staff, to ensure solutions are fully accessible, visuallyengagingandappropriate tothe learner audience.
8. Maintaindetailed awareness of, and take fully into account as necessary, any relevant statutory, internal, or external regulations, standards, and codes of good practice such as those relating to disability discrimination, security, quality, data protection, audit etc.i.e.Caldicott Principles and the Data Protection Act (1998). Ensuring these aspects are included in all e-learning content and regularly reviewed.
9. Reviewand evaluate learning outcomes and customer feedback to identify and implement improvements to e-learning design and content.
10. Collaboratewith subject matter experts and clinical and non-clinical representatives to create effective learning solutions. Work with and support colleagues to ensure training and learning fits with the needs and requirements of ourDigital Business Transformation Programme.
11. Participatein User Groups asrequired,providingregular briefings, presentations, demonstrations on learning development. To ensure feedback to issues is gathered and resolutions communicated effectively.
The “must haves” for this role:
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and/or Microsoft Certified Trainer. (MCT)
• Advanced level of proficiency in delivering and developing training in the use of the Office 365 suite of applications
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Relevant degree plus additional specialist knowledge
