Active Prospects are recruiting for a Support Worker to join one of our supported living services in Ashtead, Surrey.
Located in Ashtead (between Leatherhead and Epsom), this service supports and assists 2 adults with, Learning disability, Autism, communication and sensory needs, and some behaviours that challenge. They need support with all aspects of daily life, including personal care, taking medication, eating, cleaning and engaging in recreational activities that bring them joy and happiness. Our aim at Ashtead, is to support our people to live ordinary lives through active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking.
The ideal people will have a passion for working with people with Autism, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support. They should be resilient, enjoy working in a team and be willing to think creatively about supporting our people to live fulfilling lives. The service is close to public transport, with a short walk from the bus stop/train station to the service.
With the great support of your manager and our interactive training programme, you will learn about how to administer medication and how to provide excellent care for people we support.

Contracts Available:
All hours are considered including long and short days. We commit as an organisation to share out all shifts equally to be fair to all our staff.
15 hours, 22.5 hours, 30 hours, 37.5 hours all available! Evening and Weekend and Night work also available! (Minimum of 15hrs per week).
