Responsibilities:
The primary role is to provide leadership to the Application Delivery and Support teams covering non-retail applications in Singapore, which include New/ enhancement of Business Services/Application Capability, Applications Project/Enhancement Delivery and Applications BAU Support.
• To form strategic partnership with Business Unit stakeholders and design innovative, optimal IT solutions for projects.
• To engage and provide consultation to Senior Leadership Team and Business Unit stakeholders on IS strategies and solutions so as to make sound decisions on technological investment
• Work with the respective business stakeholders on application strategy and roadmap
• Be a valued contributor to the entire IT portfolio beyond non retail applications as part of the senior IT leadership team in Singapore.
- Business Performance and Management
• To Deliver and Support IT systems and applications within our organization that meet the needs of the business while adhering to security best-practices, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of all Non retail projects and to ensure that projects are run within budget and schedule and to manage project risks effectively.
• To ensure timely support on business applications to meet service level agreements
• To plan and manage budget and expenses in-line with overall procurement guidelines, and to ensure alignment to business objectives
• To continuously assess the security risks of non retail application assets in terms of security threats by continuously applying patches and hardening for vulnerability
• Prepare the various management reporting as required
• Be the backup to the Retail Applications delivery & support counterpart.
• To collaborate effectively with Regional Group Technology (GT) teams, outsourced partners and suppliers to deliver high-valued services to Business Stakeholders
• Provide Leadership and Oversight management of the non-retail applications teams.
• To manage talents effectively and to develop a team of highly motivated and skilled Banking application professionals with high performance work culture and embracing industry best practices
• To ensure effective and efficient utilisation of non-retail resources and operate the team in a cost-effective manner
• To manage relationship with Technology Services (Infrastructure) teams so as to deliver best of class IT services to Business Unit stakeholders
• Champion the corporate culture and values through both practising and communicating.
- Regulatory and Industry Compliance
• To ensure all applications in the non-retail portfolio adhere to regulatory requirements including TRMG, MASGO, FSM-N05, FSM-N06, MAS 634
• To ensure industry best practices are adopted such as industry CIS hardening baselines, AWS Best practices.
• To maintain and ensure all SOP are aligned and up to date and all line 2 and line 3 requirements are fulfilled ie the CAR (Compliance, Audit, Risk) dimension is kept clean.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in information technology, Management, banking & finance.
- Possess at least 15 years in IT Applications space preferably majority in Banking context.
- Minimum 10 years of Information System (IS) management experience with strong universal banking and technology domain
- Proven track record in delivering complex and innovative digital IT projects
- Highly knowledgeable and experienced in financial services application delivery lifecycle, technology for digital/innovative business solutions, problem solving skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Certificate/Training on Problem solving methodology & Project Management qualifications such as PMP / & Application/Infrastructure support service frameworks like ITIL/COBIT / Agile Methodology, TOGAF
- Public Cloud skills and credentials in particular AWS is an advantage
