We currently have a great opportunity with a Housing organisation for a Complaints Resolutions Assistant role on a full-time fixed-term contract basis for 3-6 months. This is an office-based role located in Hertfordshire, requiring the successful candidate to work 5 days a week in the office.




Job Title: Complaints Resolutions Assistant

Salary: £25,300-£30,000 per annum

Responsibilities of Complaints Resolutions Assistant:




- Deliver exceptional customer service across the Operations Directorate, championing customer care and serving as a customer ambassador.

- Maintain proactive communication with customers about service failures, communal defects, and rectification timelines through various channels (phone, email, social media, etc.).

- Log and monitor all feedback in the housing management system, ensuring complaints are handled within the timelines outlined in policies and procedures.

- Promote online tenancy services to customers and respond to queries regarding improvement works, adaptations, repairs, and other housing-related requests.

- Address complex issues related to dampness, adaptations, and repairs, keeping customers informed throughout the process.

- Collaborate with planners to arrange repair works, raise work orders, and work with the Gateway Membership Team to enhance service delivery.

- Conduct resident profiling surveys to maintain up-to-date data.

- Provide administrative support to the Operations team as needed.




Requirements for Complaints Resolutions Assistant:




Essential:

- Full Driver's License and access to a car.

- Basic DBS check.

- Experience in a customer-focused environment, with a strong record of providing quality customer care.

- Proven ability to manage complaints effectively, achieving positive resolutions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work under pressure, balance customer needs with legal requirements, and maintain a professional approach at all times.

- Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Word and Excel.

- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and handle conflicting demands.

- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours if needed.




Desirable:

- NVQ in Customer Care.

- Experience in social housing.

- Basic knowledge of housing issues, including disrepair, gas access, dampness, and adaptations.

About the role

The cancer support worker for Personalised Care Follow Up (PCFU) will form an integral part of the Colorectal multidisciplinary team, alongside the CNS team caring for the physical, social and psychological needs of the patients who have completed their treatment for cancer. The support worker will assist the MDT in coordinating all appointments, signposting patients as necessary to the relevant team member to support the patient through the self-managed part of their pathway.

Oakview is a supported living project for 10 customers with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control for customers, enabling them to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community. Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. This includes providing personal care, domestic duties, emotional and social support in a person centred way. Staff will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

The service is staffed 24/7 and all staff is required to cover at least one sleep in a week.

Assist the qualified nurse in safely conveying and transferring all patients under the care of Prometheus. Ensure they have adequate handover of the patient's details, including risk history and current presentation, from the Clinical Logistics Manager, RMN or nurse responsible for the patient at the collection address. In the absence of an RMN, when a patient is informal, you must complete all paperwork required for the transfer. To provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during a transfer. To respond to emergencies during their span of duty. The post holder is responsible for being aware of relevant national and local policies regarding safeguarding children and adults. Attend all relevant training, meetings and reviews. To ensure by attitude, approach and response the continuation of good working relationships between staff and patients throughout the transfer. To report accidents, complaints and any untoward incidents promptly to the Clinical Logistics Manager. Attend the Prometheus base at the required time by the Clinical Logistic Manager and adhere to the company's uniform policy. We are recruiting for an Enhanced Care Team Support Worker who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The Enhanced Nursing Care Team supports our highest risk, challenging patients that might require close cohorted supervision or 1:1 enhanced care support.

We work alongside mental health liaison team, children and adult mental health team and the wider MDTs to provide gold standard care for our patients.

You will be based at the Lister Hospital but may be required to work across site on occasion.

You will provide support to a variety of patients, some who have confusion, Dementia, Delirium, or mental health challenges both adult and children and need 1-1 enhanced care.

You will be required to move around the hospital to provide care and support to the patients with the greater need.

You will be expected to do all personal care for your patients, documentation, distraction therapies, activities, and encourage mobility.

We are looking for an individual who, has excellent communication skills, can work independently, and can deal with challenging behaviour in all age groups in a pleasant and calm manner.

You must have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent in health and social care.
