The primary purpose of this position is to: serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) that installs, inspects, troubleshoots, tests, repairs, modifies, overhauls, services, and dispatches powered and non-powered aerospace ground support equipment and to train reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
DUTIES:
1. Inspects, troubleshoots, calibrates, installs, tests, repairs, removes, aligns, modifies, overhauls and performs major maintenance on complex powered and non-powered aerospace ground support systems and integrated sub-systems to include Nuclear Certified Equipment (NCE).
2. Performs periodic/scheduled, service, special inspections, TCTO's, OTI's and preventive maintenance on complex powered and non-powered aerospace ground support systems and integrated sub-systems to include Nuclear Certified Equipment (NCE).
3. Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, aligns, calibrates, and performs functional and final testing of integrated electronic systems, components, or subassemblies.
4. Reviews, verifies and documents equipment/component forms/tags and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) to reflect maintenance actions performed for on and off equipment to include initiating Nuclear Certified Equipment (NCE) reports, i.e.; DULL SWORD Actions.
5. Complies with safety standards in accordance with State and Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), AF Environmental Compliance Assessment Management Program (ECAMP) and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), environmental protection practices and procedures, directives, technical orders (TO) and policies.
