What does the Support Lead do?

Under the leadership of the Store Manager/Leader and Customer Service Manager, assists with direction of the Front End Lead(s) (if applicable) and sales associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Support Lead is responsible for all key functions of the store as directed. The Support Lead is also responsible to “Wow the Customer”, assist with front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety, and driving sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all associates and managers are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers

The starting pay for this position is $17.70per hour.  Pay may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; educational background; and geographic location.  Dependent on the position offered, benefits, bonus and incentive payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

Summary:

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site support to BD customers that includes, but is not limited to: installation and service of diagnostic instrumentation, after-hours phone support, holiday and weekend on-site support, marketing, exhibitions, and clinical trials support.

Responsibilities:

• Install and service instrumentation with minimum direct supervision, as requested, by the Service Center in accordance with current ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

• Provide follow-up service by calling customers who have recently been provided service.

• Ensure service was complete and satisfactory to the customers' needs

• Properly maintain car stock inventory, test equipment, tools, and technical data.

• Complete service documentation, as required, by the position function or requested by System Support Engineering Manager in accordance with current GMP requirements.

• Display maturity and judgment in time management and expense control

• Maintain expense levels within the established guidelines for field service travel and sites visits.

• Report quality control and other technical problems, in detail, to the Service Center and System Support Engineering Manager.

• Accurately maintain and use company vehicle as outlined by current Corporate fleet policy.

• Interface optimally with other departments and managers to resolve customer problems and issues.

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative serves as the primary point of contact for patient electronic scheduling and registration.  The role supports operations by coordinating schedules for patients and providers. The position works with patients, families, providers, clinical and non-clinical staff to coordinate the patient's experience throughout the process of accessing healthcare. Interviews patients either by telephone or in person to effectively schedule and register.  Establishes eligibility, verification of benefits, and identifying and collects co-payments as appropriate. Obtains Authorizations if assigned.   Communicates patient out of pocket responsibilities for services provided to the patient using a "Patient Friendly" approach. May perform other duties as assigned.

Registration: Collects, verifies and updates patient demographic and guarantor information.  Verifies insurance benefits/eligibility, manages referrals runs the patient estimate using the Price Estimator Tool. Collects   co-pays and patient's estimated out of pocket expense as appropriate.
  
Scheduling: Performs appointment scheduling, registration and customer service duties; answers incoming phone calls, makes appointments, monitors access issues with provider schedules that affect patient satisfaction, and communicates issues to Supervisor.  Ensures schedules are appropriate use of clinical resources. Follows established parameters to ensure procedures, treatments, test, are scheduled with the required amount of time and effectively utilize resources.

Patient Satisfaction: This position is a key contributor to patient satisfaction initiatives within the department by participating in patient satisfaction related process improvement activities as well as providing a high quality contact experience for the patient with every interaction. Creates a positive patient experience improving patient satisfaction by facilitating appointment scheduling and preregistration at one point of contact. This process will also give the patient the appropriate instructions pertinent to their service, the financial liability as it relates to their scheduled service, and direction to the Hospital Service Department prior to their visit.

As the Director, Business Development you will direct strategic new business and ensures existing and incremental priority hospital, health system and accountable provider relationships are maintained. In this role, you work with Health Systems, Hospitals, and Accountable Care Organizations in collaboration with DaVita internal teams, to develop Value-Based Care and core kidney care relationships. Relationships built and maintained include, but not limited to: kidney disease management, care coordination (CKD through ESKD), development of new dialysis centers, joint venture partnerships, acquisitions, post-acute services, acute dialysis, and discharge planning services.

This role, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, is based remotely but the ideal candidate is based within proximity of the market comprised in Northern California.  Additionally, requires >30-50% of time externally with partners and internal team meetings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development – serve as regional development executive within a $1+B operating group. Lead initiatives that drive long-term growth as part of division senior leadership team and Develop lines of business that enhance DaVita’s service offerings.
• Strategy – partner with Hospital division leadership team to analyze market trends and identify opportunities/threats. Develop plans for division to achieve Company’s objectives related to revenue, EBITDA, capital, presence, and other key measures.
• Transactions – source, develop, and negotiate complex renal partnerships with Hospitals, Systems, and Accountable Providers. Examples include Medical Director Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Operating Agreements, Hospital Services Agreements, and Value-Based Care Agreements.
• Collaboration – lead cross-functional virtual teams. Develop strong relationships with external and internal customers. Teams and resources may include Operations, Strategy, Finance, M&A, Legal, Hospital Services, Payor Contracts, Integrated Care, other.
• Partner Relationships – develop, manage, and/or track executive relationships with Hospitals, Systems, Accountable Providers and related stakeholders including, but not limited to employed Physician practices, assist with DaVita’s partner selection process for strategic opportunities.
• Value-Based Care – assist teams responsible for negotiating and implementing Value-Based Care agreements with the government and commercial Payors.  Build local relationships, assess Payor integrated care readiness, and qualify fit with DaVita.
• Deliverables – manage key deliverables. Prepare and deliver executive presentations to senior leadership teams within Company and at external partners.
• Reporting – update Salesforce.com and other internal tools. Provide timely status on accounts, opportunities and other growth initiatives within division.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education. Bachelor's degree required, MBA, MPH or relevant graduate degree preferred
• Healthcare Experience. Significant work experience in the healthcare industry with a Health System, Payor or provider; knowledge of industry dynamics (e.g., cost, quality, reimbursement, physician practice management, and risk-sharing).
  • Experience in development of new medical facilities, physician practice management, or ambulatory surgical center development preferred.
  • If no Payor or provider experience, then other relevant experience (e.g., management consulting, private equity, investment banking, and pharmaceutical/device).
• Development Experience. 5+ years of transaction experience in Corporate Development (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, other partnerships). Significant experience in influential leading teams to execute all aspects of transactions including planning, analysis, proposal development, negotiation, execution, and integration.   
• Strategy & Planning. Demonstrated experience analyzing markets, partners, and competitors to develop 3-5-year growth strategies and plans. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Collaborate closely with Operations and Strategy to prioritize and maintain focus on highest-value opportunities.
• Relationship Management. Passion for building trusted-advisor relationships with partners to create tangible results. Genuine interest in bringing high-quality care to more patients by aligning DaVita growth strategies with partner strategic objectives. Partners may include nephrologists, medical groups, health systems/hospitals, and health plans.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

The starting pay for this position is $16.50 per hour.  Pay may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; educational background; and geographic location.  Dependent on the position offered, benefits, bonus and incentive payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

What does the Customer Experience Manager do?

Under the leadership of the Store Manager, directly leads the Support Lead, Lead Cashier(s) (if applicable) and associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Customer Experience Manager (CEM) is responsible to “Wow the Customer”, front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety and driving sales.
