We are seeking an experienced Software Support Technician with hands-on commercial experience This is an office-based role at our Oxford location, where applicants must be able to commute to the office. You will be responsible for providing support to our clients who use our property management software where you will be answering queries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. Across our cloud platform we have over 7000 active users who you will be supporting. The receptionist role is essential to ensure the efficient pathway flow of patients through the Radiology department. This post is part of a pool of staff who will help to cover all Radiology reception desks. The reception post is the first point of contact for patients, clinicians, and visitors to the department. The Radiology service requires a professional, polite, and confident individual who can demonstrate confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities include liaising with clinical staff regarding patient arrival times and safety information, and receiving enquiries by various methods of media, including telephone, email and an internal intercom system.

The candidate must ensure all reception tasks are completed accurately using the electronic computer system CRIS. Attending patients in real time for their appointments and record and escalate queries comprehensively to the administration and clinical staff.

In addition, responsible for various administration tasks to include follow up communication with patients that have failed to attend appointments, courtesy calls and monitoring the waiting room to ensure patients are accommodated in a timely manner.

Essential qualities required are a team player, flexible approach and the ability to work proactively - at times using one’s own initiative. The candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with customer care experience.

Radiology is a busy patient centred department and this position will work as part of an administration and clerical team, with good peer group support and appropriate training provided as necessary.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable person keen to work as part of the mortuary team toassist in the provision of an efficient and smooth-running mortuary and post mortem service to the Trust and HM Coroner . The work will be based mainly in the mortuary but may may also involved limited work in the histology laboratory.

You will participate in receipt and release of the deceased, storage of personal effects, data entry for recording all deceased, administration tasks associated with receipt, release and post-mortems, telephone communication with a wide range of service users, sample handling, waste disposal, cleaning and other general mortuary duties.

Mortuary and laboratory tasks:
• Receipt and release of the deceased across three sites – John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals in Oxford, and the Horton Hospital, Banbury
• Liaising with funeral directors, bereavement officers, coroner’s officers, pathologists and laboratory staff by telephone and email
• Participating in an on call service at the weekends to assist tissue services - identification of deceased with tissue services, moving deceased to post-mortem room for organ retrieval by tissue services
• Dispatch of biological samples to testing laboratories
• Scanning of paperwork (archival storage of patient request forms and for digital pathology)
• Filing of departmental slides, blocks and specimens to ensure regulatory compliance
• scanning of slides for digital pathology (histology slides converted to digital image for pathologists to make a diagnosis instead of using a microscope)

The successful candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have a positive professional approach to the work. The ability to use computers is critical for daily work to ensure correct mortuary and laboratory records are maintained

Essential requirements: GCSE grade A-C / 4-9 in English and Maths and similar grades in science highly desirable.

Desirable requirements: Car and clean driving licence, previous relevant experience is desirable but not essential, as all necessary training will be provided.
