Successful applicants will work alongside other trust doctors and trainee anaesthetists in ITU. They will: Gain experience in treating critically ill patients Learn new skills such as recognising the deteriorating patient, central line placement, point of care ultrasound etc Duties will include: -Review of critically ill patients on the ICU -Co-ordinate investigations, specialty referrals and documentation -Insertion of invasive lines -Succinct handover to the oncoming shift -Active involvement in M&M meetings, teaching and audit/QIP
