Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multiskilled)

The Company:
Are you an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician? Candidates from either a Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background will be considered as there are two new roles within this busy engineering facility. In this swing shift role (combining earlies, lates and nights) you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair (preventative and emergency) of a wide range of production and engineering machinery. Previous experience in an Industrial Maintanence Engineering role is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

- Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
- Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
- Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.

Requirements:

More detail about the role: Central point of contact for the local multi-disciplinary activity, including the facilitation of the core group function. Co-ordination of the regular (weekly) core groups, taking minutes and noting core group actions. Preparation for core group discussions, check patient history and involvement with other agencies. Provide a high-quality customer service function in co-ordination of contact and outcome information. The provision of timely and effective co-ordination of contacts for the local Health & Social Care Team, working closely with other parts of the wider community teams.
