To co-ordinate contractors to site and monitor and report on their contractual commitment's to DCH with timely importing of their service reports onto our database to aid in KPI reporting for the department.
To be first point of contact for our staff/visitor's coming into our department and advising them of best course of action prior to engineering involvement.

JOB PURPOSE
The post holder will support the day to day operations of an efficient, effective and comprehensive Clinical Engineering Department at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post is primarily to support the equipment management processes within the department by providing a full range of technical administrative/first line support to it operations. This primarily includes support to the function of the medical equipment management system (F2) to ensure it provides the Trust with the assurance it requires on its management of medical devices e.g. accurate database maintenance, data collection/input, the generation of KPI and compliance reports The post also supports other areas of departmental activity (some of a minor technical nature for which training will be provided in house and via attending supplier training and/or any other training as deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager) that assist and contribute to the management of medical equipment within the Trust.
