The Role

The Candidate

As a Support Worker, you will be working within the residential setting, you will assist students with a range of care activities in the home and support students’ needs during leisure activities and school holiday periods. You will promote the student’s independence and choices at every opportunity! All staff must be flexible and willing to work shifts that include some evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.


Essential Criteria:-

Successful applicants should be:-

• Enthusiastic, patient and understanding.
• resilient
• Able to undertake a challenge and provide high standards of care to our young people.
• Also be able to work well in a team as well as using your own initiative.
• Experience of working in a similar setting with young children would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full induction and training will be provided.

Desirable Criteria:-

• Driving license

Due to the school’s remote location – it is recommended that applicants are able to drive and own their own car.
