• The incumbent for this position meets with top-level managers and executives within the Service to establish and define the overall goals and objectives of the Insider Risk Management (InRM) Program. • Designs and develops programs, systems, and strategies based on Insider Threat (InT) trend analysis and other relevant data. MAJOR DUTIES:

1. Utilizes an expert knowledge of Tax law Identifies, develops and grows relationships with external stakeholders located within the territory and serves as their point of contact to address issues and concerns. Forwards issues, as appropriate for burden reduction consideration. Identifies, contacts and develops external relationships with governmental agencies, civic associations, trade associations, small business organizations and other stakeholder relationships. Serves as an internal communications link to other IRS functions. Provides support to customer service activities primarily during the filing season, but also throughout the year, in the areas of technical tax law and accounting guidance to taxpayers or practitioners who visit the Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) or through the R-Mail and/or Electronic Tax Law Accounting (ETLA) systems. Also provides tax law and e-file and pay information via seminars and speeches. These efforts highlight IRS programs and pertinent tax law and other modifications to targeted audiences including the small business owner, tax practitioners, trade associations, industry groups, government agencies, etc. As needed, provides assistance to taxpayers residing in federally designated disaster areas.

2. Works within designated work plans and program direction to plan, coordinate and conduct customized marketing events and other non-enforcement activities for issues with an impact on compliance, including but not limited to, complex trusts, abusive schemes, unreported income, non-filing, voluntary agreements and burden reduction. Develops new marketing plans, proposes activities, recommends timelines as well as dissemination vehicles to both internal and external partners and stakeholders, in both English and Spanish to promote the effective and efficient use of IRS products and services. Recommends use of resources and milestone dates to achieve Program goals and objectives. Provides support and feedback to the product and development staff and Centers of Excellence and Operational Priority Leads. Coordinates, via Stakeholder engagement and through other means, with such functions as Compliance, Counsel, the Stakeholder Partnership Education and Communication (SPEC), Return Preparer's Office, Communication and Liaison Division, LMSB, TE/GE, Field Assistance and other components of the operating division to publicize programs, ensure consistent delivery of corporate message, and promote effectiveness. Creates original news releases, newsletters, flyers, bulletins, media events, web pages, product lines, or other marketing promotions. Maintains extensive expertise in the multi-media communication field to ensure effective dissemination of IRS messages. Performs or directs analysis of taxpayer and/or practitioner data derived from various sources to recommend educational and outreach treatments. Develops and implements innovative methods, techniques and approaches to complex marketing plans using market research and analysis. Performs analysis of taxpayer and/or practitioner data to recommend educational and outreach treatments. Tracks historical, statistical, and demographic data to develop effective marketing plans for products and messages. Analyzes and evaluates data; and facilitates group meetings, surveys, etc. to design new marketing strategies or revise existing ones. Coordinates responses to Area and Headquarters requests. Provides extensive feedback and recommendations to management regarding marketing events, marketing program effectiveness and additional needs for marketing products and/or communication vehicles. • Researches, analyzes, and evaluates data for response to information requests submitted under FOIA, PA or IRC 6103. Assembles and reviews proposed response packages to information requests. Implements appropriate closing procedures.
• Processes Criminal Investigation (CI) cases which includes utilizing related statutes and Grand Jury information to determine which IRS records can be released. Resolving case complexities such as utilizing data on CI search and seizure, identifying other sources when no records are available in local CI, and needing to contact other states for assistance.
• Processes Labor Relations (LR) requests involving Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) and potential litigation proceedings. Completes FOIA cases filed by former and/or current IRS employee involving EDI or LR.
• Coordinates the exchange of Federal tax and other official information with several states between the IRS, the public, state taxing agencies, other local and Federal government agencies, and U.S. Attorneys. Develops Memoranda of Understanding as needed to ensure timely responses to requests, including release of personnel records or Federal tax information.
• Reviews information requests for appropriateness completeness and conformance with procedural and legal requirements. Independently responds or prepares the response for the appropriately delegated official's signature.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the nephrology healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Sets up, tests, and operates hemodialysis machines for patient treatments.
• Obtains and documents necessary pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight for each patient.
• Evaluates vascular access pre-treatment and performs vascular access cannulation.
• Evaluates intradialytic problems and provides intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
• Monitors patients’ response to dialysis therapy.
• Evaluates patient prior to termination of venous access and discontinues dialysis treatment according to established procedures.
• Reports any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to supervisor.
• Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner.
• Collects, labels, appropriately prepares, and stores lab samples according to required laboratory specifications.
• Cleans and disinfects dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
• Assists other healthcare members in providing patient education.
• Prepares, organizes, and efficiently uses supplies and equipment to prevent waste.

EDUCATION AND LICENSES:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility (preferred but not required).

This job is responsible for providing risk oversight and advice to the Line of Business (LOB) on risk management issues. Key responsibilities include identifying risks to which the LOB is exposed, implementing measures to prevent and mitigate losses, and monitoring risk outcomes. • Assess and identify deficiencies against internal policies and standards or industry best practices, providing formal recommendations and requirements to remediate.

• Inspects operation of all facility operating systems, including temperature checks in appropriate areas and physical structure of the facility and reports any issues to the Facility Manager.

• Ensures a clean, safe and sanitary environment in the vascular access facility at all times.

• Ensures all blood spills are immediately addressed according to the FVC/FMCNA Bloodborne Pathogen Control Policies.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

• Assists with efficient utilization of medication, laboratory, inventory, supplies and equipment to achieve supply cost goals following all guidelines established in the FVC/FMS formularies.

• May assist in the development and revision of any applicable policies and procedures related to the facility to ensure continuous process improvement.
