Are you an exceptional Operational Director who can play a lead role in developing our integrated community services in line with our values?
This is an opportunity to think bigger and lead by example, engaging with multiple stakeholders enabling change by shaping our vision and developing the delivery of shared services putting people at the center of everything we do to deliver improved outcomes for patients.
You will lead our integrated community services portfolio which includes the full range of community services to support people within their homes, community hospitals, integrated urgent care services and specialist community services.
The Service Director will take a strategic lead on multi-agency working with a range of partners to shape and deliver the out of hospital service offer in Dorset.
Partnership working will be imperative to deliver innovative models of integrated care and support that harness the strengths of local communities and focus on the needs of our patients, whilst understanding the wider responsibilities and accountability to the Trust whilst acknowledging that on occasion this may override the priorities of the Directorate.

Working with as part of an Operations Management Team, this post is one of three key leaders with operational management and leadership responsibilities for all Trust services and will be responsible for:
• The delivery of quality services around the core dimensions of safety, effectiveness and patient experience.
• The development of strategic plans in line with overall Trust strategy.
• The performance Management of all services in line with local and national performance targets and standards.
• Ensuring clinical engagement, taking responsibility for clinical governance, safety and risk management.
• Taking a commercial and business approach to services which recognises and adapts the needs of our customers.
• Providing leadership, support and advice to managers and staff.
• Delivering consistently high quality, responsive and cost-effective services.
