Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Revenue Cycle Director for Pre-Services Non-Hospital who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Revenue Cycle Director for Pre-Services Non-Hospital you will:
•Be responsible for effectively leading and directing the team assigned to financially clear and schedule patients for services within Adventist Healthcare.
•Motivate staff to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and to meet the organization goals for customer service, financial performance, and call center excellence.
•Interact and partner with internal customers and serves as a representative of the AHC Revenue Cycle Leadership team.
•Lead within a call center environment and is responsible for achieving both financial and call center metrics equally
•Own and lead Revenue Cycle performance and measures of success/key performance indicators for assigned scope
•Provide value added, actionable, and timely reporting
•Lead, manage, and continuously improve performance
•Ensure feedback loop is maintained between customer process results and enterprise audit, reporting, and performance to ensure Revenue Cycle performance.
•Ensure enterprise Revenue Cycle and Finance leadership are aware of positive and negative performance of – including appropriate escalation and support where needed.
•Ensure Revenue Cycle processes align with overall enterprise strategy and standardization goals.
•Maintain Revenue Cycle budget and staffing model for the assigned areas of scope
•Be responsible for leading one or more centralized call centers which support key lines of business within scope
•Ensure correct volume-based staffing is sufficient to meet needs of supported areas
•Provide, or resource, adequate training and resources for team within area of responsibility.
•Act as SME for call center processes within area of responsibility
•Call Center reporting
•Oversight and ownership of performance drivers of key call center metrics
•Solution to resolve issues contributing to poor Revenue Cycle performance within the entity and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
•Collaborative leadership from a Customer perspective of Revenue Cycle shared services and processes at the enterprise level contributing to the revenue viability for the assigned entity.
•Liaison between the customer group and other Revenue Cycle leaders to ensure performance in assigned areas.
•Ensure timely communication and reporting of Revenue Cycle performance, initiatives, barriers, process changes etc. to customer leadership and other key stakeholders.
•Demonstrate excellent customer service and collaboration skills
•Collaborate with key partners throughout the health system to ensure alignment with AHC mission and goals
•Work cross-functionally with AHC partners to ensure alignment with overall revenue goals
•Work cross-functionally with operations teams to ensure alignment with overall business operations under the Revenue Cycle scope
Qualifications include:
•Bachelor’s Degree required, business or healthcare management preferred,
•A minimum of 10 years’ experience with a healthcare provider or an outsourcing company on a senior management level leading Revenue Cycle processes and teams
•Has held a leadership role in at least two of the following areas: Patient Access, HIM, Coding, Revenue Integrity, Billing (CBO), Physician Practice Management, or Customer Service within an Acute Care Hospital setting or Physician Practice
•PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is essential.
•Innovative, motivated & able to lead by example.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required.
•Up to 50% local travel to and from assigned practices and/or facilities for collaboration, meetings, and stakeholder duties where appropriate
•Up to 5% for potential training and continued education purposes
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday.
