Responsibilities
1) Drop-in Centre Operations
· Manage risks, safety and security of the Drop-in Centre
· Manage, supervise and lead the team of Recovery Support Guides and Programme Coordinator.
· Develop and manage maintenance of Drop-in Centre membership records and reporting functions.
· Manage crisis situations related to clients and members within the Drop-in Centre
· Lead and manage the Recovery Buddies Programme in the development of a pool of safe recovery persons who can take on mentoring roles to new clients.
· Plan and implement formal and informal Recovery Buddies recruitment process to enhance and enlarge recovery support programme.
· Manage and ensure relevance of facilities and resources in support of all Drop-in Centre related activities and programme.
· Develop, monitor and report on plans and budget for Drop-in Centre programme.
· Contribute to write up of the Annual Report on Drop-in Centre, RSG and wellness programme/activities.
2) Drop-in Centre Programme
· Plan, coordinate and oversee implementation of Enrichment Programs, Life skills programs, (e.g. yoga, creative workshops, Basic Eng class, etc) at the Drop-in Centre, to complement clinical services and programmes
- Foster collaborations with community groups to strengthen and expand partnerships with religious and faith communities, ethnic/cultural, health and human service providers, business, education and neighborhood groups in support of agency’s recovery programmes
- Liaise with Communications & Relations Manager, in the planning and provision of services to WE CARE clients by volunteers and CSR partners.
- Assist Communications in outreach activities to raise and increase awareness of WE CARE services and mission.
- Manage the operations of the Drop-in Centre and oversee all activities in the Centre including liaison and scheduling of self-help meetings with respective RSG groups (AA, NA, SLA, etc)
3) Counsellor
· Conduct individual and group counselling of youths/adults with addiction related issues.
· Conduct psycho educational/ psychosocial groups on addiction and recovery related topics.
· Assist with new programme development activities.
· Provide programme tracking and evaluative reports for programme funding and grand reporting purposes.

3. People Management and client Relations: Demonstrated skills in people management and the ability to build rapport with clients, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
4. Planning and Organizational Abilities: Proven organizational and planning skills to efficiently manage the daily operations of the drop-in Centre.
5. Educational Background: A master’s degree in social studies, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications in addiction counselling are preferred.

1. Oversee Drop-in Centre Operations and Security: Ensure the drop-in Centre operates smoothly and maintains a safe and secure environment for all members and staff, adhering to established house rules and safety protocols.
2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks related to member interactions, facility management, and drop-in Centre operational procedures. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring a safe and supportive recovery space.
3. Monthly Activities & Programs: Plan, organize and compile and disseminate monthly ongoing and new activities, programs and meetings schedules.
4. Leadership and support for Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Guides: Provide effective leadership and guidance to the Peer Support Specialist team, ensuring they are well-supported in their roles
5. Cultivate a Vibrant and Supportive Community: Foster a welcoming and dynamic environment that encourages regular attendance and engagement, leading to a stable and active membership base. Ensure that all members feel valued, respected and supported on their recovery journeys.
6. Counselling Caseload Management: Take on and manage a counselling caseload as assigned by the Clinical Director. Report on client progress, challenges, and therapeutic outcomes, ensuring alignment with clinical standards and program goals.
