What does this role involve? 

As a Customer Care Team Leader, you and your team will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our prepayment customers.

Day to day, you will;

coach and develop staff to be the best they can be;
oversee department KPI’s and SLA’s to ensure they are met;
manage and resolve any escalated queries from your team;
ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times;
work closely with internal departments.

This is an exciting opportunity to open up two new Supported Living locations, in Bath and Keynsham, both new builds for 5 people with Learning disabilities and Autism who will be supported to learn to live in the community on their own for the first time, develop new skills and pursuing exciting new opportunities and adventures.

We seek an individual with proven experience in supporting people in supported living, who embodies a proactive 'can-do' approach.

You will be instrumental in supporting adults with learning disabilities, helping them live their lives their way.

As a Support Manager, you will lead, coach and mentor your teams to support people to be in receipt of amazing support, ensuring high standards of support are consistently met and maintained and create a working positive culture within people’s homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sector-based experience and leadership, flexibility to work as required, including participation in an on-call rota, and a valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle.

Hays are working with a professional services organisation based near central Bath to recruit for an IT Service Desk Manager. The role is permanent, paying circa £45,000pa offered full time on site or potentially hybrid working one or two days from home per week. The IT services department are a friendly team with a great culture. The organisation also promotes development & career progression.
Your new role
In the role you will be responsible for line management, with the service desk (1st & 2nd line analysts) team of 10. You'll work closely with the IT Service Delivery Manager to ensure high quality day to day operational IT support services for the organisation. You'll support the personal development across the team, manage one one to-one and act as an escalation point where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have experience working at manager / team lead level across a busy IT service desk. Ideally, you'll have a hands-on technical background and be able to act as an escalation point where necessary (O365 suite). You'll have experience in day-to-day IT operations & management including conducting performance reviews and 1-2-1s, developing and leading on SLAs and KPIs across the team. You'll need to have excellent soft skills, be a great communicator and be able to liaise with technical and non-technical users and stakeholders across the group.
