Our engineering specialist client based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

This is a full time, permanent role based in Liverpool, offering between £45,000 - £55,000 for the right person.

The purpose of the role is to manage projects and to deal with all technical and construction issues relating to the Mechanical installation. You would also be required to attend monthly design meetings, assess contractor valuations, carry out site inspections, witness test installations and issue snagging reports.

You will have the ability to take a project from conception through to completion using prepared client brief documents as well as the ability to produce proposal documents. You should be able to convert this information into a working set of Mechanical drawings and Mechanical specifications both for tender and construction.

Candidates will be expected to:

• Have up to 8 years experience within an M&E Consulting environment.
• Be HNC or degree qualified. Chartered or working towards chartership.
• Have working knowledge of Autocad/Revit and IES.
• Lead schemes from inception through to completion and work to deadlines.
• Be capable of producing high quality Mechanical Services Design.
• Be a strong team player, who takes pride in their work and wants to progress their career.
• Help with the development of younger members of staff.

You must be competent and experienced in designing the following systems:

• Heating installations.
• Air Conditioning.
• Mechanical Ventilation.
• VRV/VRF Installations.
• Water Services.
• Soils & Wastes.

The Senior Care Coordinator will work jointly across Local Authorities in Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey and with NCL CCG. There may also be a need to work with colleagues in the remaining NCL boroughs of Camden and Islington. There will be a requirement to chair and/or support CETRs on behalf of local commissioners, and on some occasions, travel across and outside London may also be required.

The ICRAS service operates for 24 hours a day over 7 days.

ICRAS provides high quality, culturally sensitive, nursing and therapy treatment/interventions for people in their permanent or temporary place of residence (Hub rehab units). Promoting a co-ordinated approach to admission avoidance that facilitates a seamless service leading to improved health and social care outcomes.

Therefore reducing the incidence of re-admission through education seeking early intervention providing an evidence based approach to clinical practice to improved patient care.

ICRAS aims to prevent inappropriate and/or avoidable hospital admissions by providing short term, intensive, multidisciplinary and holistic assessment treatment of care, ensuring collaborative working with existing social care providers and other agencies.



The post holder is responsible for the delivery of clinical care to a defined population. Supported by senior practitioners, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role. They will work effectively and collaboratively within the team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures and provide clinical leadership.

Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy within the designated area incorporating establishment of systems and processes.

Facilitate the development of the skills and knowledge of the junior practitioners and health practitioner assistants through clinical supervision and perform their personal development reviews.

Ensure that the organisation of the ward over the shift period supports the efficient and effective delivery of care e.g. that the environment is clean, safe and supports privacy, dignity and confidentiality to patients.

Observe, assess and evaluate what is influencing the workload i.e. level of patient demand, supply of staff and what level of hands on care is required and plan for the following shift duration.

Contact bank service and arrange bank staff

Manage unproductive time and operational duties i.e. check work time cards of nursing staff within the team when required.

• Ensuring that care staff are adhering to CQC guidelines whilst providing exceptional levels of care to residents
• Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise
• Instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
• Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
• Team player but able to work on your own initiative
• Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
• Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly

The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £12.20 per hour and the annual salary is £20,935.20 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 33 hours a week working through night shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
