Role: Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour
Location: DT4, Weymouth
Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time
Shifts on offer*: Days, Monday to Thursday: 8am - 6.30pm. Nights, Momday to Sunday: 10pm - 8am.
*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant who can support in and around the Weymouth area, to support across two Paediatric male service users who has a PEG,Tracheostomy,Atresia of airways,Oxygen and other complex needs. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are also doubled up as a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within his own home environment and especially within the community.
Activities will include going Moving and Handling, Personal Care and taking part in Clinical Tasks, which you will get the necessary training from our Clinical Nurse Team, and in other facilities run by professional practioners, such as the NHS.
You will then need to communicate effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving them and their next of kin the opportunity to communicate their needs as well.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Complex Care experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
- Must be a Driver holding a Full UK Driving License if living outside if the Weymouth area, due to access of Public Transport.
