WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WORKSHOP SUPPORT OPERATIVE TO WORK OUT OF OUR BUSY SHEPTON MALLET DEPOT.

The position of Workshop Support Operative involves:

• Booking out time for each job that is carried out and the relevant paperwork given to the Workshop Controllers.
• Ensure that best practice is always employed in relation to component replacement; repair duration; document completion.
• Provide support and assist the Fleet Workshop office staff to meet and surpass all agreed targets.
• Take control of loaded brake tests requirements which will include vehicle trailer collections, facilitate loading vehicles and complete brake tests, once trained.
• Carry out minor defect repairs and component replacements.
• Organise workshop parking to ensure safe operational areas.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace environment.
• Due to the nature of the role, Health and Safety and Safe Systems of work are paramount. You must ensure that you are following the company's health and safety policy at all times.

Essential skills required for Workshop Support Operative:

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Previous hands-on experience to include defect rectification, working with vehicles on a daily basis and knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative.

At Gregory Distribution, we are looking for a Customer Service Administrator who will be the primary point of contact for our Pallet Networks site in Shepton Mallet.

The position of Customer Service Administrator involves:

• You will be required to work closely with our customers to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole
• Coordinating daily service reports, daily/weekly conference calls with customers, and using various internal/external IT systems.
• Processing customer invoices and inputting invoice data on various systems.
• Managing customer relationships and associated administrative duties, including answering all queries via email, phone, and face to face.
• Production of KPI's and daily statistics.
• Investigating and resolving stock issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Liaising with the vehicle maintenance team and planning vehicle servicing and defect repairs.
• You will be the main point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal teams, so strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
• The job can be fast-paced and pressurised, but you will receive the support and training needed to be successful in the role.

The details

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset

Working Hours: 7pm (flexible) - 5/6am

Guaranteed 50 hours per week (average 55 hours per week) and all breaks are paid

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Bonuses are paid monthly - max £320

Average £40,000 PA

Duration: Temp to perm

The job

You will be multidrop delivering products to supermarkets.

Newly qualified drivers are accepted.

The candidate

• Must have a UK HGV Class 1 Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

The school caters for children and young people with special educational needs between the ages 4 and 19 years. They offer personalised, outward looking programmes to enable students to achieve their best.

The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this long-term role, although there is potential for this to become a permanent placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, while being supported by a pro-active, welcoming and dedicated team.

The position will involve working with pupils aged 4 to 19 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder / ASD and speech language and communication needs. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:

· Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities

· Experience working with students with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties and/or PMLD /Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties

· Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent

· Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
