About the Role

As a Telecare Officer, you will be responsible for providing crucial support and assistance to individuals in need, particularly during day and night shifts on a rotational basis. Job Description:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of students
• Ensure a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Meet brand standards (image and presentation, safety and hygiene)
• Plan, deliver and present lesson content to children
• Supervise and assist children in daily homework completion
• Regular liaison with parents regarding children's progress and behaviour
• Plan and prepare enrichment programmes/ activities with the Team
• Ensure proper and timely record keeping
• Assist in the day to day operations of the centre and centre management
• Assist in student enrolments (enquiries, assessments, registration, etc.) and area marketing activities
• Assist the Student Care Manager in the day to day administration of the centre (meals, roster, scheduling, payments, etc.)
• Meet customer service standards

Job Requirements:

• Full-time applicants able to commit to a 5-day work week (11am to 7pm)
• "O” level or Diploma qualifications & above
• WSQ Student Care or qualifications in the field of community & social services is an advantage
• Relevant working experience is preferred, but training and mentorship will be provided
• Able to assist students with simple homework (English, Maths, Science and Mandarin)
• Possess genuine love to care for and mentor children
• Good communication skills
• Great sense of responsibility
• Must be a team player

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Handling Phone Calls

2. Attending to walk-in (parents,students,vendors etc)

3. Filling, typing and printing

4. Maintain General Office Storeroom and inventory of office supplies, First aid supplies and maintain the sick bay.

5. Other ad hoc duties.

• Attend to phone-in enquires and/or emails and correspondences from the Public.
• Resolve enquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Provide constructive feedbacks on tool, resources, procedures and guideline to enhance workflow and the customer experience.
• Deliver the best services to customers to ensure the highest customer satisfaction with the right procedure.
• Handling and managing of escalation issues in a proficient manner.
• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System of TDCX.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidate must possess at least the GCE ‘O’ Level or Diploma in any field.
• Preferably with 2 years of working experience in the related field is ideal for this position.
• Possesses strong time management skills and is motivated to exceed expectations.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with excellent keyboard skills
• Possesses good telephone manners with clear speaking voice
• Comfortable working with computers and multiple systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market
