Some of your duties will include:
· Responsible for overseeing the IFMS (Infrastructure, Facilities, Maintenance and Services) technical support team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance support services. This role involves managing maintenance support operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes.
· Provide technical knowledge to maintenance teams in compliance with government and OEM standards.
· Provide new methods or processes to improve current business maintenance practices.
· Undertake maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory material tracking.
· Manage and monitor storage of purchased items.
· Allocate planning of infrastructure maintenance and all necessary resources required to accomplish for Infrastructure maintenance activities.
· Lead, mentor, and develop the technical support team to deliver exceptional service.
· Oversee and manage the resolution of technical support requests.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
· Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
· Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support.
· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team is equipped with up-to-date knowledge.
· Develop and document technical standards, processes, and procedures.
· Develop and maintain support schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
· Plan and coordinate support activities in alignment with company goals. Implement and monitor adherence to support policies and procedures.
· Utilize SAP for tracking and managing support activities and resources.
· Monitor and control costs associated with the technical support function. Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to senior management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices; Monitor expenditures against the budget and implement cost-saving measures where possible; Prepare cost reports and forecasts related to procurement activities; Implement asset management processes to monitor the lifecycle and utilization of technical assets; Ensure that purchase orders are accurate and reflect agreed-upon terms and conditions; Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services; Prepare cost estimation (owner estimate) of all planned projects in detail items and scope of works; Controlling cost estimation against overall budget planned in periodical basis as in the BP (monthly, quarterly, semesterly, yearly); Monitoring actual spending budget against planning of each and all projects against allocation in detail specs, variances, deviations in weekly to monthly basis.
· Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on team performance.
