We have an opportunity for someone with excellent organisational skills and communication skills to join our team as Director's Support Manager. You'll be working with our Head of Application Platforms.
In this role, you are the conduit between the Deputy Director and several senior stakeholders, building relationships by supporting them and keeping them up to date.
You'll quickly develop a good understanding of what we do here, and the strategic priorities across Digital Group.
You'll use that insight to plan and prioritise, and to manage the director's workflow, anticipating any issues before they arise.
You'll have responsibility for diary management as well as inbox management, ensuring that all enquiries and requests are answered in a timely and accurate manner.
Experience as secretariat for meetings, taking notes and actions right through to completion, will also be useful as you cover our Senior Leadership Team meetings. 
What skills and experience do you need? Show us that you have these skills in your application… 
- Experience of providing support services to senior leaders including anticipating issues before they arise and responding to unplanned challenges (ideally within a large digital organisation).
- Experience of building effective relationships including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience of managing conflicting demands and priorities whilst working in a high profile, fast paced environment, ensuring tasks are prioritised in line with strategic objectives.  
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to use varying methods of communication and evidence of summarising key messages and recording and tracking information. 
- Familiar with Agile ways of working and associated IT and collaboration skills required for this role, eg - Office365, Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Loop.

Location: You'll join us in our brilliant Digital hub in Blackpool. There is lots of free on site parking and we're accessible from across the North West.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model with a mix of home working and sometime in the office. Your office days will coincide with the Director's diary where possible.
Travel: There will be a requirement to travel to our Manchester office on a quarterly basis, to support the Senior Leadership Team in onsite meetings.
Pay: In return for your skills, we offer a competitive salary of £35,711 to 36,545.
Pension: You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to over £10,500 a year.
Holidays: You'll get a generous leave package starting at 24 days, rising to 26 days after one year, plus all the usual bank holidays, and the option to take extra days off on flexi leave.
