As a Healthcare Support Worker in the Radiology Department at our Taunton Hospital, you need to have great communication skills with the patients, other staff members and Clinicians, as well as a good telephone manner, and be familiar with computers. Although some of the role is Admin, there is also plenty of patient contact and clinical exposure. Ideally we're looking for a level 3 candidate but will consider level 2 (healthcare assistant) if you have relevant experience.
As a Healthcare Support Worker in Radiology, you will:

Put the patient's needs and their experience first

Carry out administrative duties relating to clinical tasks

Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact

Work as part of the small, dedicated Radiology team

Input into departmental improvement and progress

Be flexible to the possibility of helping in other departments throughout the hospital
