As a Community Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require specialized care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to promote independence, dignity, and well-being among the service users in your care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered care
Assist with daily living activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

Compassion, empathy, and patience to support individuals with diverse needs and challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within our community who require assistance and support.

Responsibilities:

Support to individuals in their homes or community
Assist with daily activities, meal prep, and household tasks
Encourage independence by supporting them to attend social and recreational activities
Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual
Evening/weekend work required

Requirements:

Previous experience preferrable however if you are a compassionate person looking to get into Care full training will be given
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
