The role is full-time and will require you to be onsite at our customer site.

Your role will be to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to customers with a positive, can-do attitude. You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide array of technology which includes both mac and pcs, tablet devices, server systems, network infrastructure and voice platforms although the bulk of the server and network elements will be managed by our specialist teams.

• Ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the customers operations.
• Personable with end-users developing a friendly bond with customers.
• Collaborating with your colleagues to determine any processes that requires improvement or can be handled more efficiently.
• Seeking customer feedback on your performance and take an active approach in attempting to continuously improve these results.
• Identifying problems or requests which don't have an existing process and collaborate with your peers to develop and implement one.
• Ensuring documentation and procedures are always up to date.
• Taking ownership of day-to-day technology issues and dealing with external 3rd party organisations.
• Collaborating with your peers in other teams across our business to ensure a successful outcome for the customer.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the role, you will be responsible for providing local end user support for the customers' technology environment which encompasses a combination of Microsoft Windows Workstations, Apple Mac Devices, Chromebooks, Meeting Room Technology and Mobile Devices running both Android and iOS.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise your skills and passion for technology to solve technical issues on Windows, Apple Mac, Chromebooks, Android and iOS based devices supporting the operating systems, hardware and client side applications on these devices. Whilst we understand that you may not have had experience with all platforms, the successful candidate will be a fast learner who enjoys expanding their knowledge;
• Provide end users with training on how to better use their devices and assist them to learn something new;
• Be personable with end users developing a friendly bond with customers;
• Collaborate with your fellow colleagues to determine any processes which need improvement or can be handled more efficiently;
• Identify problems or requests which don't have an existing process and collaborate with your peers to develop and implement one;
• Keeping IT Office neat and tidy;

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Experience in an IT Support Role;
• Know your way around a computer and in particular Windows;
• Intune knowledge;
• Basic Networking;
• A solid understanding of how computers and associated peripherals work together;
• A fast learner with a eagerness to learn more;
• A person that enjoys a fast paced environment and helping others;

The role is based at a client site in Melbourne CBD and is a full-time position.

• Experience in A/V Hardware and Systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills

All our team members are expected to obtain and maintain a valid Victorian Working with Children Check and a Police Check.

This role does not require any formal qualifications and is classed under the Business Equipment Award.
