The Role:
Are you detail-oriented, methodical, and engaged with the built environment? As a Digital Asset Data Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys of the University’s buildings, ensuring that information about spaces, maintainable assets, and their condition is meticulously recorded and maintained. This critical role underpins many core processes and directly contributes to improving the efficiency and sustainability of our campus.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct building surveys to gather accurate data on spaces, assets, and conditions, using digital tools like Revit, Planon and ArcGIS.
Collaborate with teams across the Estates Services and beyond, including Direct Works, Infrastructure, M&E, Capital Development and Sustainability, to ensure data collection meets the needs of the University.
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our digital asset management systems, ensuring data is complete, consistent, and up to date.
Support the University’s net-zero ambitions by providing precise data that informs sustainability projects and resource optimisation.
Adhere to data governance standards, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

About You:

Qualifications and Experience:

Internal wall and room in roof insulation installers required for work accross the North of England.

Will be required to install insulation systems to the internal walls and roofspaces of domestic properties.

The role requires basic joinery and plumbing skills as timber studs are fixed to the walls to accommodate the insulation. Plasterboard and a plaster skim finish is then applied. Radiators may also need to be removed and re fitted to allow the system to be installed.

Working in a team of 3 operatives, the applicant will be required to collect materials from suppliers and travel to site in a company vehicle.

Work is Monday to Friday with overtime possible but optional.

System specific training and NVQ's will be provided

Rates start at £133 per day for suitable applicant and will rise dependant on performance/qualification level.

Previous experience with SWIP IWI and Room in Roof Systems would be an advantage.

We also have business management teams who support the entire Directorate and each of our partners is supported by account management teams. We are responsible for a great deal - our portfolio consists of properties valued at £8.5bn for the MoJ alone. Team Overview

The post holder is accountable to the Head of Programme Delivery for the successful, timely and quality delivery of all a portfolio construction/fitout projects across the MoJ family: prisons, investment, reform and Capital maintenance; probation investment, reform, Capital maintenance; court investment, reform; sustainable development; Home Office change and
maintenance, considering the sustainable, social and economic and environmental policies. The number projects in a Senior project sponsors portfolio can vary, but is normally in the region of 40 projects at various Royal Institute of British Architect (RIBA) stages. The post holder delivers their work through an outsourced frameworks of professional service providers and constructors.

Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Working with a range of end users, judiciary, prison governors, probation, HMPPS leads to develop and facilities management to develop project proposals at mandate through to timely completion, within budget envelops; evidencing value for money solutions and benefits realisation.
• Working with Directorate Account Management teams in delivering successful
• Timely drafting and submission of individual project option appraisals, feasibility reports, business cases and board papers; driving design innovation.

An outline of your responsibility as a Site Manager

Manage site teams, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams (including Sub Contractors)
Collate all preconstruction information (packs, asbestos surveys etc).
