Position: Quantity Surveyor

Randstad are partnered with a market leader in the water industry seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, based in Bournemouth, with the option of hybrid working.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to the Managing QS, taking on responsibility for key accounts on large projects or overseeing the financial control of smaller projects.
Role Overview:
● Handling applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliation
● Ensuring cost control and forecasting, and providing information for monthly reports on value, cost, profit/loss and cash flow
● Assisting with Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions and providing mentorship to the project team
● Contract management, including utilising relevant contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and software applications
● Initiating subcontract enquiries, negotiating contracts, and ensuring all necessary notifications/documents are up to date
About you:
● Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
● ARICS accreditation or studying for APC
● Experience working with a main contractor
● Experience working within the water sector
● Familiarity with NEC contracts (highly advantageous)
