About the role:
The Property Contracts Manager is a pivotal role allowing business as usual delivery within Cadent Property to be efficient and a good value for money. They are responsible for managing contractors within the Property portfolio, including locally based small contractors as well as the Property departments major contracts and ensuring these contracts are well managed and are fit for purpose according to business requirements.
The Property Contracts manager will be responsible for property suppliers in line with contract SLAs/KPIs and service assurance Agreements and in addition, the role will support the central Property team in implementing property strategy and objectives with a significant contribution to property continuous improvement initiatives across all services.
Please note that to be considered for this role, you must be comfortable with being available for any out of hours emergency support, as and when it is required.
What you'll get to work on:
- Know the portfolio of sites and business needs – Through regular and proactive stakeholder management, communication and engagement. Ensure property services have a framework of suppliers to work with and ensure performance of these contracts and services meet the needs of the business.
- Chair stakeholder meetings, producing timely contract performance reporting of all property contracts & services with action plans.
- Feed into the Property portfolio budget (planning, forecasting and control) Develop, agree and implement Contract & Supplier cost savings plans to meet cost challenges and deliver best value for the property portfolio.
- On behalf of property, ensure Contractors align with and can support with initiatives that deliver ongoing energy consumption reduction, building environmental efficiencies and company sustainability targets.
- Represent Property in supplier sourcing events, ensuring regional service requirements are defined to either renew or tender FM contracts when required.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate support for Site Occupiers by Performance managing supply base and ensuring First Fix and Fast response to critical operational sites.
- Support the central property team in implementing property strategy and objectives with a significant contribution to property continuous improvement initiatives across all services.
- Ensure that all contracts are accurate and relevant documentation is correct and updated when necessary Manage and Maintain all Property Procedures, Processes and Documentation and to ensure all Contractors meet the necessary Accreditation and Health & Safety requirements. This must be evidenced, tracked, checked regularly and stored centrally.
- Support Cadent Procurement with all tender processes for property management services.
Who are we looking for:
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Professional Qualification and/or professional membership in Property related, supply chain or business management discipline
- Contract Management Training (NG-CME Training course)
- Role specific Safety awareness (ie. NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Role specific environmental awareness (IEMA. /GL Denton course/CBT)
