About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Surveyor to join our team covering the Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Bedford, Northampton and surrounding area on a permanent basis.
As an Asset Management Surveyor, you will support the delivery of Guinness' long term Asset Management strategy and development of future investment programmes, by undertaking a programme of property surveys and risk assessments.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for; undertaking stock condition surveys and a range of other building surveys / assessments such as Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS), Energy Assessments, environmental/estate surveys and general building surveys.
You'll ensure Asset Management data is appropriately maintained and that condition data is captured and recorded accurately and make sure records are updated following any validation or audits.
You'll assist with preparation of project proposals, options appraisal, feasibility studies, planned investment reports, and specific defect reports.

What we're looking for

You will not only be a Skilled Asset Management Surveyor, but you will also have great customer service skills and a willingness to maintain the highest standard of work for the department. You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of undertaking assessments of buildings including Stock Condition and HHSRS.
- Good knowledge of UK Housing regulations, legislation and best practice including HHSRS (including Awaab's Law implications) and Decent Homes Standard.
- Ability to plan programmes of surveys to make best use of time and travel.
- Delivering high quality services to demanding customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
- Familiar with a range of applications and Microsoft office.
- Ability to work successfully in a remote team.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Knowledge of Asbestos regulations.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
