What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will ideally be qualified to degree level in Building Surveying, or be qualified by extensive experience in your field. You will have related experience in a similar position and will be able to confidently discuss this during pre-registration. You should have understanding of the key legislation within social housing and building control, including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act, PAS 2030 and PAS 2035. You also MUST have the Right to Work in the UK, as sponsorship will not be provided, and candidates without the right to work in the UK need not apply.

About the Managing Quantity Surveyor role

Due to securing an exciting pipeline of projects my client is now looking to expand their team with the addition of a Managing Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have worked either multiroom, hotel or student accommodation projects previously from inception to completion.

This role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience leading teams who is looking for the next step in their career or a Managing Quantity Surveyor who is seeking a new challenge.

Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor role

• Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
• Strong negotiating skills
• Ideally have worked on multiroom, hotel or student accommodation schemes
• Experience overseeing more junior member of the team
• Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not essential
• UK Driving License.
