To add to our clients expanding team, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join forces on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate closely with the site teams and construction management team to guarantee successful and efficient package tenders, material quantification and procurement, subcontractor package placements, and subcontractor account management.
Our ideal candidate will have expertise working on housing, flat and sectional agreement projects, including 278 works. Having experience with private developments and client-led initiatives under a JCT D&B Contract is beneficial but not necessary.
QS Duties:
- Assuring value for money, cutting costs, and increasing margins will be your core priorities, all while upholding the highest standards of quality.
- Procurement
- subcontract administration
- contract administration
- monthly payments and valuations
- CVRs and final account settlements are among the responsibilities
QS Criteria:
- CSCS Card
- Suitable experience required within residential property development
- Full UK Driving License
- A degree or background in Quantity Surveying
- Skilled in negotiating
- Thorough understanding of building and construction technology, materials, procedures, and business and legal issues.
- Communication abilities, both written and verbal, including the capacity to provide reports that are clear and concise.
- Analytical reasoning abilities
