The role
As the Director of Operations for our Managed Estate portfolio you will sit within our Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our Managed Estate hotels. In this role, you will drive performance, creating value for our stakeholders and work with our Business Development team to identify and secure new management contracts for the company.
This role is remote with national travel required.
Key responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining owner relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, advisors, brand partners, agents, asset managers, investors and other stakeholders to ensure expectations are exceeded.
- Sales and business development: Work in partnership with stakeholders to drive sales strategies and pursue new business opportunities.
- Leading strategic direction: Actively lead the managed estate portfolio in strategy planning, collaborating with other Directors, and bringing innovative ideas to drive business performance.
- Driving financial results: Working with stakeholders to lead budget development, cost control and financial analysis to drive results.
- Driving operational excellence: Drive the implementation of company initiatives, while ensuring operational needs are met.
- Drive Performance: Lead efforts to drive performance for all stakeholders, aligned with their individual strategies, delivering the highest service levels and creating ambassadors to support the company's growth.

What you’ll bring to the team
An ideal candidate for this role should possess:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, with responsibility for managing multiple properties, with a focus on driving operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget development, cost control and financial analysis to drive results.
- Demonstratable success in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, with a track record of delivering value aligned with their individual strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel management, financial management, and operational standards, with the ability to drive performance metrics.
- Experience collaborating with internal senior leadership team and external stakeholders to identify and convert management contracts.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and inspire Cluster General Managers and hotel teams, holding them accountable for delivering performance metrics and ensuring the highest service levels to guests and stakeholders.
