An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a regional contractor, specialising in the fit out and construction of commercial and industrial properties, working on a full time, permanent basis.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Duties:
- The main responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be supporting and reporting to the Managing Surveyor, assisting with planning and subcontract procurement, BOQs, take off, valuation and variations, site appraisals, scheduling, chasing payments, cost reviews, CVRs and final accounts.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Criteria
- Demonstrate good competence of basic QS roles and responsibilities.
- Experience in managing multiple trade packages, whilst assisting with valuations, variations and CVR reporting.
- Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working within the construction industry.
Competitive salary on offer, circa £40,000.
